As Malaysia emerges from the pandemic, its economy is growing again, up by 5% in the first quarter of 2022. This was supported by improving domestic demand as economic activity continued to normalise with the easing of containment measures.
With the post-pandemic new normal, Malaysian organisations are once again looking to more corporate travel, whether this is to neighbouring ASEAN countries or further abroad to China, India, Europe or the United States.
Together with SAP Concur, Asia Insights concluded this study that details the opportunities for Malaysian organisations to accelerate sustainable corporate travel efforts as the country commits to be carbon neutral by 2050 as part of the 12th Malaysian Plan (12MP) by 2021.
